https://standupwireless.com/blog-which-restaurants-accept-ebt-in-california/ With inflation going up so high since January, few people are bothering with fast food. So the various fast food companies lobbied to get EBT/SNAP benefits to get money. The page linked above only shows restaurants in California. But there are other states that allow it. What I don't understand is why people would bother. You can spend $6.00 on a combo at McDonald's, or get proper steak at Ralphs. And it would be healthier. There will be a short term jump in EBT sales as people try it out. But I hope those who get the benefits will come to realize how it's NOT an economical plan. They'll spend their benefits in the early part of the month, then have no money left and no food. -- "Listen guv, I'm a ten-guv-a-day copper. Always have been, always will be. If you want me to work on this case, I'm going to be calling you guv all day long. It's all I know and it's all you need to know, guv." - Shouting George

NOTICE TO JENNY: please try to post fast food reviews and comments in the future instead of just repeating your lies over and over.

Other states are allowing it as well. While I don't think we, the people, should actually ban those on benefits from being able to get fast food from time to time, I would like those people to be educated on the matter. Teach them that fast food will eliminate their benefit amounts quickly. But then the matter becomes how to pay for the teachers and such. -- They say to dress for the job you want, not the job you have. But show up to the office in a mawashi...
