Actually, it does explain something I've wondered about. There have
been some seemingly reputable reports that show that ANFO (a
fertilizer bomb) could not have caused the damage to the building.
There simply wasn't enough power in the ANFO for the damage caused.

Therefore, assuming that only ANFO was in the truck there must have
been more explosives planted elsewhere.

 But if there were 350 lbs of blasting gel in the truck then that
could make all the difference.  Maybe General Partin was correct, but
it doesn't mean that there were two explosions; just one really,
really big one.
