That is, a few Czech sources say she died in 2013 - but none say just WHEN in 2013. Searching on her possible ages - 75 and 76 - didn't help either. At any rate, one thing I got wrong was her birthdate. It was September 4th, 1937, not April 9th (normally, I remember that the rest of the world lists dates as day/month/year, unlike Americans, but this time I forgot). She collaborated a great deal with her artist husband, Josef Paleček. One story she retold was The Magic Grove: A Persian Folktale. Also, since she was female, her last name was not quite the same as her husband's - it was "Palečekova." (Or, at least, that's what she was called in Czechia.) Lenona.
