In 1959 or 1960, I was given a three-volume anthology that was oriented towards kids. Over the decades, it vanished. Anybody familiar with this? Content: As I said, it was three volumes. It appears to have been edited/organized along a "grow with it" philosophy. The first volume was generally stuff like nursery rhymes and Mother Goose stories (although I don't think that she made an appearance). The second volume was along the lines of fairy tales, fables, and folk tales. The third was mostly excerpts from novel-length works, such as _Hans Brinker_ and _Robinson Crusoe_. Physical Description: Hardbacks, about five or six inches wide, and seven or eight inches high. (This might be off, since I'm much larger than I was sixty-odd years ago.) They were in the neighborhood of one hundred to two hundred pages, with the third longer than either of the first two. Each volume included a handful of color plates. I don't think that they came with dust jackets. Does this description sound familiar to anybody here? -- Michael F.
