These $#@& pigeons are flying pigs with appetites like a vacuum cleaner! I am going insane trying to find a bird feeder that will keep out pigeons, but will accomodate larger passerines such as Cardinals and Blue Jays. The "caged" tube feeders obviously keep out pigeons, but the openings are too small for Cardinals. Does anyone make a "caged" or "screened" type tube feeder that is designed to keep out only bigger birds like pigeons, but will still allow Cardinals and Blue Jays to feed?

Get a Absolute brand bird feeder and set the weight to 2 on the weight bar, unless the pigeons work in tandem to counteract the weight they will not be able to eat at it, unfortunately neither will the Blue Jay but the Cardinal will Andrew Longtin New Hope, Minnesota ALongtin *at* worldnet *dot* att *dot* net No SPAM needed here.. Dear RF, Frankly we found the use of a Crossman pellet gun to be most effective for keeping those #$%&*+ pigeons away! ;-) We hate 'em too!
