A UNIQUE WAY TO HELP OUR BIRDS OF PREY: GIVE US A LINK!

Audubon's Center for Birds of Prey is dedicated to the rescue and
rehabilitation of raptors...and to educating the public on the importance of
conserving their habitat. If you have a web site, please consider giving us a
link to help spread the word! Just link to "<A
HREF="http://members.aol.com/adoptabird/">http://members.aol.com/adoptabir
d</A>"...or use our graphic banner link with an animated bald eagle. You can
find our banner and instructions for using it at "<A
HREF="http://members.aol.com/adoptabird/banner.html">http://members.aol.co
m/adoptabird/banner.html</A>".

The Center receives over 600 injured or orphaned raptors each year, including
eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, osprey, kites and vultures. With prompt care,
many birds can be returned to the wild. Those who cannot be released are cared
for at the Center's aviary. Since 1979, the Center has treated over 7,000
birds of prey and released 3,200, including over 200 Bald Eagles, back to the
wild. Many of the non-releasable birds become Audubon Adopt-a-Bird candidates
and assist Center staff in educating the public about the importance of saving
raptors and their habitat.

Thanks,
Randy! :)

P.S. I work as a volunteer at the Center and am always looking for new ways to
help them out...and this posting is my latest attempt. Please let me know if
it's inappropriate for this newsgroup or if I'm crossing the "spam line" with
my postings, thus projecting a negative image and possibly doing more harm than
good. My e-mail address is "RandyStack@aol.com".
