i am interested in hearing from people who use televue prontos or
rangers (or TV85s) for birding. i'm also looking to hear of
terrestrial use of other fast 'apos' you may have adapted to birding.

please share your thoughts on how you came to be using them in
preference to typical spotting scopes and what situations you use them
in with what kinds of results.

do you prefer a 90 or 45 degree viewing angle? what eyepieces do you
use and why? i'm also looking for information on what mounts/heads
you're using and how you would rate them.

feel free to respond here or email me directly at: robhunt@goes.com

thanks in advance.
