We have lots of wild turkeys around our area in Michigan and often they come visit our house and backwoods. Two questions: What do turkeys eat (will they eat my plants for example?) and what is a group of turkeys called (our group is around 20 strong)? Thanks.

So my guess a group of wild turkeys would be a flock of wild turkeys. Just my guess according to my field guide books.

Seems to me we've been along this path before... Group names are called "collective nouns", or "names of assembly". I found: "A rafter of turkeys", at: http://www.users.dircon.co.uk/~lizzie/html/collect.htm "A posse of turkeys", at: http://www.ojohaven.com/collectives/ There were others, but the "rafter" one was the most consistent choice...
