"Air Bake" Cookie Sheet

I asked for a new cookie sheet for Xmas and the hubby bought
me one of those Air Bake ones.

On the directions it says not to immerse in water as it will
wreck it, but I can run it under water to clean it right?

Has anyone used this on the bottom rack of the oven right over
the elements? It's guaranteed not to burn the cookies. I'm hoping
I can put a few trays in at a time.

Seasons Greetings....Sue

Susan, you sure can run it under water to clean it! I do it all the
time. I love mine. And I bake my cookies on the bottommost oven rack.
Be careful about loading too many sheets in at one time, though; you need
ample room for air circulation between the cookie sheets. Were I to bake
more than one at a time (I don't--preference), I'd switch their positions
halfway through. -Barb

I use parchment with my Air-Bake cookie sheets; cookies slide right off
and I don't ever have to wash the sheets.

I made the mistake of leaving ours in the sink overnight, and it was full of
water
the next morning. I was pretty mad at myself, but we left it on its side for
a couple days and it drained back out and it works just like before. So don't
be tempted to
throw it out if you goof, I was about too but she thought we could try to
salvage it.
:-)

Bottom rack is bad idea though. zzzzzzzzzzzizzle
