Unfortunate experience with National Bullet Co

I've dealt with this company quite a bit over the last 15 years. Bullets
were just ok but prices were good. Last time I ordered I got 4 boxes of 500
each of copper coated 230 gr RNL. Three of the boxes were ok but the 4th
box was awful. Bullets had cuts in them, some were sized as large as .458,
a couple were as small as .450. Very disappointed and wrote them a letter.
Never heard the first word back from them and that's what really bothers me.
Anyone else have any experience like this?

Bud

Give Penn Bullets a try. Reasonable prices and customer oriented.

i bought 3 boxes of bullets in several configurations, and in one box
there were about 25% obviously out of tolerance bullets.

i email them, and got a very quick response.......they replaced the
bullets with no shipping.

in my email, i attached digital photos of the problem bullets......they
said that the photos helped find what went wrong in the manufacturing
process.

_Call_ them, with shipping paperwork or invoice in hand. For something like
this you want to deal with a live voice.

Pick up the phone. Maybe the letter never made it. Most companies worry a lot
about 15 year customers who have a bad order, and want to make it right.

I'll second this choice. I asked him at a couple of gun shows for .360"
bullets for .38S&W loads. Each time he said that he was sorry and had
forgotten to cast some up and bring them. On the third time he took my name
and address. A week later a box of 500 arrived at my door free of charge! If
you're looking for another supplier, give him a try. An honest man with a
good product.

Certainly good enough for bullseye competition. I've fired a lot of
his bullets over the years and have always been satisfied.
