Last wednesday I went shooting with my Rugar Stainless Steel Mini-14 Ranch Rifle. I decided to lube it with MPro 7s new CLP http://www.mp7.com. The stuff was just as good as Tetragun (another gun oil I have used) at keeping the rifle working smoothly. Also less fouling collected on the rifle using the MPro 7 (a.k.a. Hoppe's Elite) CLP. I'm not telling anyone that they should drop their current gun oil and go out and get the stuff. I'm just telling my experience with MPro 7 CLP for anyone who happenes to be curious about the product. It is a good gun oil. I'll probably order some when my regular MPro 7 oil runs out. But so far that four oz bottle looks good to last for a long, long time. So far using MPro 7 for oil and Tetra for grease has always worked fine for me -- and even better once I learned not to use too much of either one!
