Okay,

I!m familiar with the French joke that ends

!Un Deux Twa Cat Sank! (phonetic spelling)

and I know that Duchamp!s !L.H.O.O.Q.! means, !She has a hot butt.!

But, what is so funny in Spanish about !S.O.C.K.S.!?

A Spanish speaking man goes to and asks for calcetines. The clerk doesn't
speak Spanish. So he takes him around and points to different thing.
Finally he takes him to the socks.The Spanish speaker says "Eso si que es".
(which means "that is it". Phonetically it sounds like socks.) The clerk
says " If you could spell it why didn't you say it in the first place!
