If your plan is to get me up at the ass crack of dawn while I'm on vacation,
then my plan is to make sure that I'm ESPECIALLY drunk and noisy when I roll
into camp at 1:00 AM. Maybe a few CD's worth of Prong, Pantera, and White
Zombie.

I don't mind riding the same trails. Hell, I race hare scrambles. Maybe we
could ride 'em backwards. On the other hand, if you think there are decent
places we could go plunk around on closer to Idaho on Sunday, maybe thats a
good idear.

I'll hafta do some research. An afternoon of sight seeing on the bikes is
better than driving on the interstate, any day...

Hey, I have to drive across western Kansas first (in the daylight even).
The rest of the drive will be scenic by comparison.

We'll go over maps with you. Wish I could make both days. The wife's
going through withdrawal right now, so it wouldn't be a good idea for me
to leave for the whole weekend.

Regardless, you're still going to have to face the interstate. I can
handle the desolation of southern Wyoming/I-80 OK. It's the endless
potatoe fields in Idahoe that drives me to the brink (admittedly, a
short trip).

AFT (About Fucking Time) our own thread was started.

If you're not up for an early start, we would probably head up the morning
of the
ride. Say key time 10-10:30ish? I'll send you an email my our cell phone
numbers.
Probably no coverage at Albany, but give us a jingle when you can on the way
thru
CO.

Hell I don't even know what time zone Idaho is in... Sometime on Monday I
think... Hopefully late afternoon, early evening... Like I said, I don't
like keeping time on vacation. Now, enduros? Thats a different matter
entirely...

My number is now 177. I got too pissed off at being stuck behind all the
slow A riders that wouldn't let me by at last week's hare scramble, and will
now be riding the AA class. (I'm not kidding either...) It's a long story,
but I went into the first corner in 4th place, only to have the guy in front
of me go down. I was passed by at least 5 riders in my class. I was stuck
behind the slowest of them for over 4 laps. Super tight trees followed by
VERY dusty open sections (wash, rinse, repeat) isn't condusive to passing,
especially when I'm such a wuss... Managed a 4th place finish, but, I'm
still pissed. And I don't get pissed easily...

I'll be shooting off as many bottle rockets as you can fit in a coffee can
with a propane torch. Its a Jahelka tradition... Oh yea, and beer...

I was about to suggest you let me follow you around a day or so to pick up a
few things. I'm about to give the B class a try when I get back from Idaho.
Then, I thought better of it. I'm using Eric's bike. I'm sure I'd bash it
up just trying to see my way through the dust.

How ya doin' anyway, Victor? Didja ever see the photos from Utah? I
just got a good one developed of you and Deeney. It's a close up of
the two of ya's. It looks like you're hatchin' a plan of some sort.
