I'm putting a set of BBR aftermarket springs in my son's TTR 125L and according to the Yamaha manual it seems pretty straightforward with only the cap bolts and retainers needing to be removed to get the springs out except for one thing. The TTR doesn't seem to have any fork oil drain plugs to empty it. I presume the Dampener bolt in the bottom of the fork can be loosened to drain it but I was concerned I would not be able to hold it from moving without a "special Yamaha dampener retaining tool". I sure would appreciate anybody with any experience with this posting a reply. Thanks RW

Don't even worry about the oil until you've tried them out and then adjust the level as needed.
