Ok so order em up, whilst I suck on another diet mountain Dew. Anyway, I've mentioned my 81 FXEF trike here in the past, now appears to be the time to sell her. I had the heart attack 12-25-02, and haven't put 150 miles on her since. Obviously she is a pretty expensive toy. that I really cannot see ever using again like I did. So about 39000 on the clock, about 6000 since a case up rebuild. runs like a freaken top, 25 tooth primary gives me a 72 (no shit) MPH second gear. Mechanically very sound. cosmetically a dab rough, need a new coat of paint and a good buffing/polish of the steel and chrome. I know this is pretty slim info to go on, but y'all got any ideas?

You are looking for a small segment of the market. Spend the two or three bucks and put a reserve on it that you would accept. I suggest also putting a "buyer responsible for shipping" or "will not ship" condition on it as well. I've had good luck both buying and selling bikes on Ebay. I sold my Sportster two weeks ago and bought a thumper last Saturday.

Could you post some pics over on abpmh? I guess depending on the price versus condition ratio I might be interested. I've been looking for a run around town vehicle for my shop for a while. Does it have reverse? That could be a factor for around town stuff. Roger

No reverse, the reverse was in the tranny on the servicar 3 forward one reverse. this is stock 81 tranny. you could fairly easily add one with a starter motor and a ring gear around the drum. Actually while it weighs in at about 900-1000 it really is easy to push backwards, although a little planning makes for little pushing, Ray

My ticker isn't at 100%; cardiologist says it's about 80% so I try to stay in shape and live for tomorrow. We are all walking time bombs. >is 8000 waaaayyy too much you think? I have no idea. You have to have a starting point and see what happens from there. This is the right time of year to be selling a scoot. I really wish you well and good health. Ride Safe!
