Howdy folks. Aside from the Drinks, this is OT. My faith in TIGTA (treasury inspector general for tax administration) has been restored. They investigated an incident of internal identity fraud, malicious use of email, employee harassment. By gathering enough evidence, they motivate a "rogue" manager into stepping down. I do not need to get into the details here, other than to say that it's about time. The event happened last September, and has been aggravating me ever since. It involved a good friend who was the victim of this crime. Thanks DP for the reassuring technical advice concerning exchange server & outhouse-2000. -- TaxmanHog - http://home.comcast.net/~taxmanhog/ EKIII page - http://eddiekieger.com r.m.h FAQ - http://rmhfaq.com r.m.h parking lot - http://rmhparkinglot.com/

In this situation, one employee (manager) accessed another employees Identity, perused their email sent folder, and forwarded an item to a third party. This item caused major embarrassment for the identity owner, and several other employees. Put simply high tech back stabbing is what it comes down to. Had this involved tax payer data, he would be out the door for sure! Sad state of affairs. -- TaxmanHog - http://home.comcast.net/~taxmanhog/ EKIII page - http://eddiekieger.com r.m.h FAQ - http://rmhfaq.com r.m.h parking lot - http://rmhparkinglot.com/
