I've only just started reading this thread and maybe someone else will mention it but: If another's riding behavior is scaring you, why not tell him? When I see a rider behind me crossing the line in order to keep up, I'll often pull over and mention it to him. Ask him what he'd do if a car was coming the other way. Find out if he knows what it would take to stay in his own lane. He stands to become a better rider from this. The alternative kind of sucks; slowing way down for the rest of the ride and the other guy not getting any better. ab
