Hi, 1975 Honda CB400F, $400. Bike is in decent shape, not running. What I've done: I cleaned the tank and petcock, cleaned and re-installed the carb jets and float bowls with new gaskets/o-rings but have not tried to start it. How I found it: KONI shocks. Original exhaust in good cosmetic shape. Under 20k miles. Missing left footpeg and shift lever/linkage. Brake hydraulics drained for storage. No dents that I have noticed under the non-original yellow paint. "Honda" and "400 four" replica decals applied to tank and side panels. Clubman bars. Seat recovered cheaply, but covering sound. Decent-looking but hard tires. Great project or parts bike. I'm moving and don't have time or space for it. Conditions: Offer good until September 5: if I have to move it I'm keeping it. Seattle (Greenlake) pickup only. Thanks for looking, Steve ('snip' e-mail address accordingly to reply)

Bugger! Wish you were here in NZ. Cheers, Neil with a 350/4 and 750/4. Used to have a 400/4, nice little bike. yodelmoaner wrote: > Hi, > > 1975 Honda CB400F, $400. > Bike is in decent shape, not running. > > What I've done: > I cleaned the tank and petcock, cleaned and re-installed the carb jets > and float bowls with new gaskets/o-rings but have not tried to start > it. > > How I found it: > KONI shocks. Cosmetics is important. To get a bike running, it may just need the carbs cleaned. (Seems to be the case with this one). If a bike has been sitting outside in the rain for years *but* runs like a champ, it may take hundreds if not thousands of dollars to get it looking right. You are forgiven... -- Jeffrey E.
