Ordered and received the subject CD. This is my first time with this
computer application. I'm a user of Microsoft Streets & Trips and Delorme
Street Atlas. After I installed TL Campground Finder I played around with
it a little and was disappointed to find that in order to get any
information on campgrounds the distribution CD had to be in the computer's
CD drive. Both Streets & Trips and Street Atlas allow you to do a
complete install which places all data on the computer's hard disk but I
can find no way to do this with the TL Campground Finder.

Is there a way to force TL Campground Finder to place all of it data on the
hard disk such that the CD is not requred for operation?

The easiest way I found was to copy the files on the CD to a folder on
your hard drive and then install the program from your hard drive.
Since you've already installed it from the CD, you'll need to
uninstall it first. I tried changing all the necessary paths in the
Windows registry, but still could not get it to work. I guess I could
have missed a few things to change. It was just easier to install
from the hard drive..

Thanks JamesM for your reply. Your method works. Now it would be nice to
be able to remove the parts of the image that are no longer required.
