A quick message to say how my A/C problem from last Holiday Season was resolved. Just a reminder, spouse and I camped at Fountainebleu State Park (Louisiana) <http://www.lastateparks.com/fontaine/fontaine.htm> over the past holiday season on the north shore of Lake Ponchatrain for about six days to bike ride on the Tammany Trace Bike Trail. I ran the A/C (uh, I didn't know an RV A/C doesn't need "exercising", but now I do!) only to have it stop working, as in one moment it worked, then next it didn't after the A/C "dial" was turned. Well, as I suspected and everyone was right, too, it was a simple fuse (Thank Goodness!). I'm quite grateful this A/C problem was so simply resolved (whew)! However, I have a feeling (hopefully, I'm not psychic!) when spouse & I learn to operate the other features of the Class B RV (as in propane stove & propane fridge (2-way w/ E), potty, shower, and "tanks") this upcoming year that some problems (both mechanical & operator) will arise (sigh). Today, almost went to Kankakee State Park (Illinois) to spend the night, but decided it still wasn't quite warm enough yet. Will probably take a day trip tomorrow, though. Oh, spouse and I have now joined with Good Sams ERS, while still carrying our AAA ERS! BTW, is the GS ERS like AAA in that if one uses their services too often in a given amount of time, the subscription for service is subject to recovation? I know I've had this "revocation" threat happen with AAA a time or two over a period of 20 years or so. Those were years when towing services with AAA were used quite a lot (read about 4 or 5 in one year). Oh, and it's AAAPlus. This weekend is a teaser!!! Spring isn't too far away :) Skyhooks hmardis "aht" uiuc "daught" edu "reply to" address munged -- read line above for correct addy.
