Well, how was the wedding? Did you freeze? It was freezing here in Florida for the lst few days so you didn't miss much. Remember the Silverado fiver? It's at the Ocala RV show as I type.... went from the Clermont show special of $49,000 to the Ocala show special of $41,000. Go figure. Nah, but I did step on some black ice getting out of Dad's van and ended up getting a nice new set of x-rays for my shoulder. Yeah.......the one I just had surgery on. I think it's gonna be OK in a few days. Time will tell. > >Remember the Silverado fiver? I have never seen much of a price reduction at a show, and always wonder why they sell so many. I wouldn't make a serious offer at a show. They have too many customers to take what I would offer, though I know they would take it later. We did some more looking this week at the Sunnybrook 5th wheel. The sales droid wouldn't shut up and listen when I told him I didn't come for a sales pitch. He didn't listen when I told him that it was clear that I knew more about the unit than he did. And he didn't listen when I told him to shut up and listen. We left. I had a nice phone conversation with him today and he explained that Thursday was his first day on the job. I ended up telling him that next time we're in Pensacola I'd give him one last chance to shut up and listen to my questions, but that I'm not about to listen to a sales pitch. I don't expect him to have the answers to my questions, but I'll give him exactly _one_ chance to find them. As a former salesman, I don't have much patience with droids who don't understand their job enough to shut up and listen. Lon
