Super Simple Server: https://supersimpleserver.com/

I post this here in case anyone needs a fast and simple solution
for running a web server over clearnet or Tor. This program manages
configuration without all the endless Linux-foo configuration stress
that attends manual configuration of apache, nginx, certbot and torrc.

It has both graphical and command-line interfaces.

Allows easy creation of Tor .onion sites.

It generates and serves websites without JavaScript.

There are versions for Linux and Windows.

About two decades ago I used a program named 'WinMX' to share and chat
with people all over the world. At one point in time there were at
least a couple million users on the WinMX peer-to-peer network. WinMX
was developed by the author of this server software. Now a new version
called DarkMX secures all traffic with Tor hidden services.

Super Simple Server is a compact all-in-one program that makes it very
easy to create and host a simple web site on any computer.  Content
management is automatic and secure, so you don't have to know HTML or
how to write code.  The standard HTTP, HTTPS, ACME, DNS, and DDNS
protocols are all supported, which means all you need to provide is a
computer, and you can be online within minutes.

Friends,

It is my hope that you find this software to be useful.  I created it
because I want people to always be free to express themselves online,
without centralized control.

It took a tremendous effort to create Super Simple Server.  Development
started in 2016, and only after several thousand hours of hard work was
it ready for public release in early 2019.

If you like what I'm doing, and want to encourage further work in this
area, please make a small contribution as often as possible.  It will
be put to good use.

Thanks!

It's a nice program but it's not open source, or doesn't appear to be.
