It might be in offline mode when you try to check, and claws-mail does not warn about this. You might also check Tools > Network Log for problems. SugarBug | https://sybershock.com

Claws Mail doesn't seem well suited for this purpose. I check for new messages, right click on the group and click Download messages, it seems to do something. Once finished I disconnect from the internet and attempt to read the mails offline and get >Claws Mail needs network access in order to access the News server. I try to do this multiple times in the hope that it works but I still get the same issue. Maybe it has something to do with using it together with I2P (low bandwidth, high latency) that messes it up. -- Posted on RetroBBS

I'm also getting the following in my logs when I try to open some of the messages. >[2023-05-xx xx:xx:xx] NNTP> ARTICLE XXXX >[2023-05-xx xx:xx:xx] NNTP< 423 No such article number XXXX So some articles are simply missing. -- Posted on Rocksolid Light
