For anyone interested, the new series starts on More 4 at 2100 on this coming Friday (24th). I've been watching the Belgian-UK version "Patience" (2100 Wednesdays and Thursdays) on Channel 4. It's not bad as the writers have taken care to make Patience's autism of a somewhat lesser degree that Astrid's. It would probably be thought a lot better if it was original, but the French version is just too good. -- Jeff

I think it's quite brave for 4 to show it at all. It will be interesting to see the viewing figures after the first episode. It's a bit like 'autism for beginners', but personally I don't see that as a bad thing. Using a young, blonde cannot do any harm either. -- Jim the Geordie

We've watched all four up until now, series 5 is currently airing in France. A great series brilliantly acted. >I've been watching the Belgian-UK version "Patience" (2100 Wednesdays >and Thursdays) on Channel 4. It would be very difficult to come anywhere near to Sara Mortensen's performance. -- Jeff
