"No I'm Not Ginge" (poss UKRM content?)

Yesterday I was in the Yondermann cafe at Wardlow Mires in the Peaks
when I caught a glimpse of a guy wearing a tee shirt with the above
slogan (or similar) on the back.

I didn't get chance to ask but could it be related to anyone (formerly?)
here?

He used to live in that vague area (Derby, but that was *years* ago).

Maybe his nickname persisted in whatever interests he's pursuing now,
and he's got a lookalike who's fed up of being mistaken for him.

I think he's still in Derby, but can't be sure.

Ne never baulked at the virtual meme that developed from the nickname,
so I cannot imagine him trying to deny it now. I can only assume that
his (deserved) reputation has spread in circles other than UKRM.

his most recent picture on Fb is 5 years old and he is showing signs of
greying at the sides

you can try to see if https://www.facebook.com/robdymond is set to public
You only need to see the main profile pic with dog and dogdy moustache

Can someone point me at a photo of said gentleman please?
I will then endeavour to confirm or not. The man I saw was about 5'8",
curly grey hair, average build.

Hmmm... depends on how old that photo is? :-)
If that's how he is now then wrong guy.

OTOH, 20 years older, without glasses and slightly longer, curlier grey
hair then the face was about right. :-/

I guess we shall never know!

Cheers anyway

In retrospect, I probably should have paid more attention to whoever the
guy I saw was with? :-)

As I said originally though, I didn't get much of a chance to see.

There's always a choice. Bic razors are very cheap.

I was referring to the fact that I was substantially grey by the time
I was 30, so there aren't actually many photos of me with dark hair

Crazy the way it works. I'm nearly 50 and my hair is still brown, with little
bits of grey at the temples. My younger brother was completely grey by 30 and
completely white by 40.

You've just reminded my of that afro pic. Thankfully my visual memory
is not very good, so I'm spared the nightmares from it.

Mine is definitely genetic - my mum was grey by the time she was 30
too. My dad is well into his 80s, and still has a pretty full head of
hair, so I should be spared the worst of male pattern baldness

Mine is brown when I look in the mirror but the barber’s chair tells a
different story. I’m sure some fucker is behind me, scattering grey hairs.
