Had lunch earlier with some of my late FiLs buddies, on the island so they came
from the mainland. One was riding this absolute shed
URL:https://1drv.ms/i/s!At2_WEqkc8CXuPwVJU4_CGVyX_GzSQ?e=EG8nBy had it since
new, cannot recall if it was 1970 or 71 but around that time.

Someone has tried to buy it off him and offered RM9K but he is too attached.

Well it's a Honda, the engine I'm guessing is a SOHC, looks very much
like the one later used in the SL125 (my first bike in 1976) and the
XL that followed.

If it were not obvious from the engine itself, the rear light is also
a giveaway. The same one was used on practically all 1970s hondas from
the C5- all the way up to the CB750 and beyond.

Amazing, 55yo and still fit for purpose. That is quite some patina.

Which reminds me- I need to re-view the carburetor overhaul video you
sent me in preparation for cleaning and reassembling the carbs on my
'78 GL1000.

Soon... ish.

That tank: it looks like it has been skewered by a forklift! And then
patched. With the emphasis on patch.

Yeah - looks very much like the UK CB125S (which admitedly was mid-70s
on), That used the same SOHC engine as the SL & XL
