Has anyone tried making bread to the beep cycle, then taking the bread out, filling it with a cinnamon sugar mix, rolling it up & putting it back in the machine to bake? Louise

At the beep signifies add the raisins, nuts and the machine will intergrate into the dough. All your stuff will be intergrated. You might try doing this at the start of the first rise or better yet at start of last rise. Marie

I'm going to try it tomorrow . Interesting idea , thanks .

Both times the loaf never did rise. Anyone else have better luck? ~Moano

Anyone else have better luck? > ~Moano My apologies, because I can't remember if I got this idea from this ng or if it came from someone on the bread-bakers' list --- I've not tried it. BUT, it was suggested to add the cinnamon/sugar mixture at the end of the final knead (or at the beep when you would add fruits or nuts if your machine does that) -- like the last 5 minutes before the 1st rise. Instead of incorporating the mixture throughout the dough, you should end up with a more 'swirled' effect, which it sounds like you're looking for. Keep us posted!! Patty
